The facilities that comprise the Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Center at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital are part of the Memorial Regional Hospital campus, which is conveniently located in a pleasant suburban neighborhood in Hollywood, Florida. The campus is easily accessible via major highways from all parts of the state and is only eight miles from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.

Overnight Accommodations for Families
When a child is undergoing hospital treatment, the basic comforts of home can mean a great deal to the other family members, especially if they have come from out of town. To make it easier for parents to be near their hospitalized child, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation operates The Conine Clubhouse, a comfortable residential facility situated close to the hospital. The Conine Clubhouse has private sleeping rooms and amenities that create a nurturing environment – a “home away from home” where families can stay free of charge, based on availability.

Emergency Transport Needs
Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital has a dedicated, multifaceted emergency Transport Program that provides prompt, safe medical transfer of children in need of emergency care. Each member of the Transport Team is certified in pediatric advanced life support and advanced cardiac life support, and each is highly experienced in emergency pediatric care. A specially equipped ambulance transports patients from nearby hospitals, while an in-flight medical team transports children via Learjet from locations around the world. Working in cooperation with Omniflight, the Transport Team also provides helicopter ambulance services for critically ill children from other Florida healthcare facilities.
